Domestic Partnerships
|
Our firm is expanding to include issues related to domestic partnerships...formation, dissolution, etc. Landmark California legislation, effective January 1, 2005, and exponentially increased the number of domestic partnerships created and formalized in California.
Domestic partnerships are not limited to same-sex couples. In fact, there are some situations where a domestic partnership may be more beneficial to a couple than matrimony. But, that is a choice for each couple to make.
We can give you information to help you make those choices.

Collaborative is the Wave of the Future

I have had the pleasure to do several collaborative cases and am thoroughly convinced that collaborative, in the right circumstances, can be the most reasonable approach to family law matters...this is especially true when there are small children involved in a divorce situation.

Another case settled!

We just settled another case and both parties can walk away and remain friends. But...most importantly... the kids were not placed in the middle of the adult dispute.
